2008 KNOX MOUNTAIN HILLCLIMB, (51st annual),
Knox Mountain Park Road, Kelowna, B.C. Canada’s best known hillclimb. It a 3.5 km paved road, climbing 245 m elevation. hosted by the Greater Vancouver Mustang Association, EasyPark Gastown Parkade, Vancouver. The GVMA and EasyPark have joined forces to present the first-ever Mustangs on Top car show held atop the Gastown Parade with an entrance to the parkade directly off Water Street in the heart of Gastown. 43 years of continuous pony car production will be represented, including vintage, stock, modified and specialty Mustangs. "RIDE FOR DAD" (1st annual),
hosted by the Westcoast Motorcycle Ride For Dad, a chapter of the Canadian Motorcycle Ride for Dad charity foundation fighting against prostate cancer (started in 2000). The riders will be escorted by Vancouver Police Drill Team from Trev Deeley, 1875 Boundary Road Vancouver to Port Moody Rocky Point Park, where a Poker Run will start, followed by a self-guided tour to Harrison, then Cultus and ending at the Fraser Downs Racetrack & Casino for a Celebration BBQ & Awards. Although this is primarily a Mustang Show, it is open to all Ford Specialty Vehicles and vehicles that are Ford powered such as Tigers and Panteras.
